Jamar approached me in late 2020/early 2021. The initial statement I remember him saying is “you’re too handsome to not be jacked.” From that point forward we gradually worked into a workout routine, while very quickly getting into a natural rhythm. He had given me baby steps at the beginning, showing me the ropes of how to do different machines, workouts, sets, etc and explaining what they did to a particular muscle, and which muscles they were geared towards. As months/years went on it wasn’t a question as to if I was coming to the gym, it was only a matter of what time. Jamar has taught me discipline in the gym, given me tools, lessons and strategies to continue my journey. He has taken me to heights I never thought I’d ever be able to achieve. From there we got to work immediately and in 12 short sessions weeks I went from no experience lifting, to gaining 9 pounds of muscle and tremendously increasing my strength.
